Welcome to the inaugural monthly culture club, a quick round-up of the pop culture that’s taken up the month.

Apart from a few bright sparks, I was always pretty Taylor-agnostic. The fantastic documentary Miss Americana (Netflix) is enough to convince anyone she’s more than your average pop star. But the insane Eras tour, which just wrapped in the States, gave me a sense of FOMO. Not for the concert itself, but the voluminous amount of Easter Eggs and Swiftie fan lore that made no sense to me. Why are track fives a big deal? Which songs are about which ex-boyfriends?
