A few weeks ago, I sat down to write about all the patterns I see in my coaching conversations.
It was a quiet day, nothing dramatic. But as I looked over my notes from sessions — some with writers, some with artists, some with people in creative education or leadership — the themes kept repeating:
I feel stuck - and that makes me feel worthless.
I’m stretched too thin to create anything real.
I want to reset, but I’m scared I’ll just fall back into the same habits.
And again and again, I found myself writing the same kinds of questions in response.
Questions like:
What would change if you trusted yourself more than your to-do list?
What are you making space for, and what are you silently making disappear?
What part of you are you waiting for permission from?
What would a sustainable rhythm actually feel like?
So I’ve been quietly building something.
It’s a short coaching offer — a three-session sprint — designed for creatives who feel like they’re spinning or drifting and want to find their way back to clarity. It’s not a course or a big transformation promise. It’s just a few good conversations, a little accountability, and the space to think clearly again.
I’ll be launching it in June. It’s called the Creative Clarity Sprint, and it’ll be for 6–8 people only in this first round.
If you’ve been feeling foggy, flat, or unsure what’s next, I’d love to know what you’d want from something like this.
What gets in your way creatively?
What do you wish someone could help you figure out?
You can hit reply to this email if you’d like to share — or if you’d like to be one of the first to know when it opens up.
More on this soon. But for now: I’m building quietly. And I’m thinking of you.
Warmly,
Dave
